On April 20, 2010, the Westside Tactical Unit conducted surveillance on three individuals who were suspected of committing several armed robberies of Nail Salons in the Westside area. The Unit arrested the suspects after witnessing them break into two vehicles and steal two laptop computers in the 7600 block of Westheimer and the 6000 block of Richmond. Two of the suspects were charged with two counts of Felony Theft each. The third suspect was charged with one count of Felony Theft. The Nail Salon robberies were cleared as a result of this arrest.
